Welcome
to Klasique Goldens Web Site. I hope you enjoy
my family.
Klasique
Goldens is located just outside of Arlington,
WA in a rural community. Our property consists
of 5 acres of “Golden playground” with
a home and kennel built solely with the dogs at
heart.
A little about us:
I
grew up in Havre, MT with a Black Lab, Kai, who
was not only my Dad’s hunting companion and
best friend, but a family member.
Darryl
grew up in the Seattle area. His
family owned an array of hunting dogs including
Pointers, Irish Setters and Brittanys.
In
our early married years, Darryl & I always
owned Brittanys that Darryl “attempted” to
hunt behind. Then one day a Golden came in to my
life. Darryl said “No, we don’t need
another dog!” (It wasn’t a real No).
Since
that time 15 years ago I am a confessed “dog
snob” with a passion for Goldens.
I
am grateful for my mentors, Pam & Al Sage & Tonya
Struble. Without them there would be no Klasique
Goldens.
Pam took a phone call from a total novice who knew
nothing about Goldens but had a deep desire to
love them. She took us under her wing and welcomed
us into her life. Here
is where I found the thrill of exhibiting my
dogs.
Tonya shares her extensive knowledge of dogs with me,
smoothes out my rough edges and gives me the
confidence needed for competing. Tonya has shown
my dogs flawlessly, has helped me whelp out difficult
litters in the middle of the night, and has sold
me “my” Kirby son and “my” Felony
daughter that I always dreamed of. She continues
to inspire me.
My
dog show friends have laughed with me, cried
with me, and cheered for my victories. This wonderful
group of people shares a common love of dogs and
is a wonderful support group.
My
non-dog friends and family who may not understand
my passion for my dogs, at times it may appear
to be at the exclusion of humans, but love me
anyway.
To
My Puppy Buyers who have provided immeasurable
love and homes to my babies and have brought
me ease of mind knowing that they are all well
loved and cared for.
And
last on this list but always first to me, Darryl,
my loving husband, who indulges my every
doggy whim. Fences, more fences, kennels, more
kennels, covered kennels, heated grooming room/kennels,
puppy palace, motor home, larger motor home, etc.
etc. etc.
